BOOOOOO! And Cookies...

 Today we broke out the lunch bags and grabbed some glue and made our own ghost puppets...

 Then we decided to make some yummy ghost and pumpkin sugar cookies...

Cute and Spooky...

 Last week, we did our craft on Thursday, because CC & CJ were not with us on Friday.  I purchased these cute little Halloween stamps for $1.  The kids had so much fun stampin up their papers.  And they spent like 20-30 minutes doing it!  They were so into it!  Then I cut out the letters and stapled them to the sign.  CJ was not very happy with the letters.  But he liked it once it was finished.

 Last week, CC & CJ showed up in costume.  So, of course, we broke out a costume for BB too!  She chose "Spider Girl".  These kids take their cosplay very seriously.  CJ has become a big Darth Vader fan!

Painting Pumpkins...

Today we went on an adventure to Wal-Mart, in search of some baby pumpkins for our project. We got in the basket, and headed in...


Too Bad they only had BIG ONES....CJ did try to take 'em....but they were heavy!



But, we were able to drop by Stater Bros and get some cute little baby, white ones to paint!

"Lightning McQueen"

The weather was soooo weird this week! Monday it was 100+ degrees and then we were hit with this crazy Thunder/Lightning storm on Thursday. The kids were so cute. They were a little scared with the loud thunder and as CC calls it, the "Lightning McQueen". We were actually playing outside and then saw the lightning. We all went running into the house as fast as we could! The highlight of the day though, was a real rainbow we saw on the way to take Gavin to school! It was a great day!

Slip-N-Slide...

Today it was 100+ degrees outside! We had the A/C on inside, but CJ &CC brought over a slip-n-slide for us to enjoy outside. We were outside for an hour this morning and look how much fun we had:





We tried to go out again this afternoon, but our fun was cut short by 2 bee stings - OUCH!
