The End......

 I can't believe it's already over!

This year went by so fast and these kids grew so much!

I knew it was going to be a fun-filled day when these 2 showed up ready to party in their new costumes!

 We got to go to the school for a field trip to see Cali sing.

I always come prepared with the blanket, coloring books, stickers and snacks.

Yay Cali!

 Naps did not happen today because of our jam-packed schedule.

We had to make a final craft....Summertime Picture Frames!

E-I-E-I-Oops... Field Trip!

 Today we took a little trip over the the school to see LPW star as the Rooster in the 2nd Grade Production of  'E-I-E-I-Oops".  I actually left these little rascals in the care of Gammy and Jeremy while I video taped the show.  I brought snacks...which kind of kept them in their seats.

 LPW was a terrific Rooster and the show was short and sweet.  Here's the crew with the cool Rooster:

Then, we came home and made some cute chicks!

Happy Mothers Day!

 These kids are funny.  They were a little upset that I told them we were making presents for mommy.  They wanted to know when we were going to make presents for them.  Why is there a Mothers Day?  But I told them its a day we make our mommies feel special and let them know that we love them.  So, I had this crazy idea to paint vases.  My kids did it for me last year and I loved it.  

 I spread out the newspaper and gave each child a vase.  We placed them upside down on the paper and then I told them to squeeze the paint down the vase.

They were a little concerned at first....

 But once they got the hang of it and realized how cool it looked, dripping down the sides...

 They really got into it!

 Next, we went outside and picked some flowers.  We came in and glued the flowers in a heart shape and made a card for mommy!

 I took them to a grower in San Marcos and let them pick out flowers for their mommy's vases.

 I think they turned out pretty darn cute!

Cinco De Mayo!!!

 This was a last minute idea..but they seemed to love it!  We made hats...

 then we got some tp rolls and paper and tape...

 and made maracas!

 Shake it!

 For lunch, we had quesadillas and nachos.

Nate was here too!

We called it our "mini" fiesta!  Happy Cinco de Mayo!
