Valentines Day

Sorry, I've been so behind.  We have been experiencing some technical difficulties with the computers.

We had a fun Valentines Day!

It was packed full of activities!

We made Heart Kites for our craft.  I took pics of the kids and put them on the finished product.

 

 Aren't they sweet?

 Miss Kaci (BB's mommy), sent some heart shaped sugar cookies and we decorated with yummy frosting after lunch.

 BB sometimes forgets that the frosting is for the cookie.  She likes to just skip that part!

 Gavin was home from school and helped CJ get the frosting on his cookie - just perfect!

 BMW is an efficient cookie froster.  Eat and frost at the same time!

At the end of the day, I sent each one home with a bag full of Valentines Goodies!  I love these little munchkins!

Knock...Knock...

 Thursday (Feb 10) was craft day (forgive me for being behind...).  I was out of town on Friday, so we made our Valentine Door Knockers!

CC was not with us (fever), but I made sure to send one home with CJ for his sister!

Sweet Hearts

 I actually had something else planned for our craft this week.

But, I only had enough for 3 kids to do it!  DUH!

 Luckily, I went to the dollar store this week and picked up some heart doilies.  I also picked up a bag of foam Valentine stickers.

 We had some fun making some fun cute little valentines for our mommies and daddies!

 I took some cute pix of the finished product, but those are being saved for the final Valentine Gift next week!

When they were done, they were rewarded with a yummy heart sucker!

Heart Attack

 This week, we got a jump start on Valentines Day!

All we needed was:

Red Pipe Cleaners

A bag of heart beads

Heart Shaped Gift Tags

Valentine Ribbon

 We strung the pipe cleaners with the beads-

 Then we shaped them into hearts!

We finished them up w/ ribbon and gift tags that have their names on them!

It turned out really cute and they had fun making them!

The Winter weather has felt more like Summer lately!  And we have been enjoying it!  We went to the Beach again yesterday to play.  The kids had so much fun and were so good!

After play time, we drove over to the Harbor and watched a couple of sea lions swimmin' around.  It was a great day!

Field Trip: January Beach Day!

 Last Thursday was an absolutely beautiful Winter Day!  BB was not with us, and I was getting over a really bad allergic reaction from Monday, SO- I decided to take these munchkins to play at the beach and let me have a little break!  We took our snacks and stayed for about an hour and a half.  It was so much fun and so nice.  I will definitely do this again!
