'Spook'tacular Thursday!

Today was our last day together before Halloween.  Check out BB's tights and boots!  She was the cutest green witch, but did NOT want me to take pictures of her.  But it was ok to take one of the feet!

 AP was donning an orange shirt and I accessorized his outfit with a coon-skin cap:

 We had some fun with the costume box:

 We had to do crafts and started with some cute coloring pages...

 Then we had Halloween shaped Mac n Cheese for lunch!

 BB made this cute paper bag black cat...and while she was taking her nap, I filled it with treats!

Spooky Crafts

 BB likes glitter glue.  It's a good thing I have a lot of it!  We had like 10 different foam shapes and she decorated every single one of them!  Here's a few that were drying on the window...

I wanted to get a picture of her and all the finished shapes...but she was not in the mood!

Halloween Princess Paints

Have I mentioned that I love the Dollar store? Well, I do!  Last Friday, we made a little field trip to the Dollar Tree and picked up some fun crafts to do for Halloween.  We started with the Disney Halloween Princess Paints....and BB loved 'em!

Gettin' 'Batty'!

 On Thursday, BB walked in and was so excited to see all the Halloween decorations up!

We got right to work and made ourselves this cute little bat:

 I saved some window clings just for her, and she was having a blast putting them on the windows:

 Then we read some Halloween books.  This was her favorite:

Sitting up...outside time...and Leaves!

 This was 2 weeks ago...they are pros now!

And AP is already "army" crawling all over the place, with BB jr. not far behind!

 We love to go outside!

And we love it when the big kids are home to help swing BB!

 We talked about the new season-Fall and made some leaves.  She made it a crown and became the "Fall Fairy"!

Silly sayings...de ja vu...and It's Autumntime!

BB says the funniest things, so I'm going to try and jot them down when I can.
Tuesday, when we were driving back from taking Gavin to school, we were listening to Disney songs.  "The Ballad of Davy Crockett" came on and she says..."Hey!  Daisy Crockett???  That's a funny name.  I wonder if she has sisters."
Also on Tuesday...we were short AP again, so it was just us girls!  BB wanted to watch "Pinocchio".  So, we watched it and talked about telling the truth.  Then we made our own Pinocchio puppet:

And finally, today....It is the first day of Autumn, so we colored a scarecrow.  Or, as  BB calls it...a  Scrow!
